First of all you need to clear jee mains cutoff to apply for jee advanced.Then comes number of attempts.You can apply for jee davanced for only 2 time i.e in the year you passed class 12th board exams and in the next successive year.

You can check the eligibility criteria below
- To be eligible, the candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1993. SC/ ST and PwD category candidates will get a relaxation of 5 years.
- The entrance examination of JEE Advanced can be attempted maximum two times in consecutive years.
- The candidates should have appeared for the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2017 or 2018
