BHU Open Quota is a term used when admission enquiry arises from a student of BHU and/or the applicant is the resident of Banaras in which case he/she has done his/her higher studies in Banaras itself. All India Quota however is applicable to all the applicants who wish to apply for the admission from all over India. Hope this helps!
