LPU offers the most transparent admissions process, there are no free, paid, management quota or donation seats.
The seats are all for eligible and meritorious students who qualify the criteria for the particular program.
LPU runs the country's largest scholarship scheme too, that on basis of LPUNEST : The LPU National Eligibility and Scholarship Test.
You can still write this test if you apply before September 20th.
The current slabs of scholarships are 20%, 25% and 35% of the program fee applicable for full duration of program.

LPU offers scholarships for students while admission to various programmes on the following basis:
- According to the score obtained in LPUNEST:
If the score obtained is more than the category I cut-off, the applicable scholarship is 50% off the programme fee, within the category II cut-off, it is 40% off and within category III cut-off, it is 30% off.
- For engineering programmes on the basis of JEE Mains marks:
If the percentile obtained is more than the category I cut-off ie. percentile more than 95, the applicable scholarship is 50% off the programme fee, within the category II cut-off ie. percentile between 90 - 95, it is 40% off and within category III cut-off ie. percentile between 80 - 90, it is 30% off.
- For management programmes on the basis of CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT score:
If the percentile obtained is more than the category I cut-off ie. CAT/XAT percentile more than 98, the applicable scholarship is 50% off, within the category II cut-off ie. percentile between 95 - 98, it is 40% off and within category III cut-off ie. percentile between 90 - 95, it is 30% off.
- Scholarships are also provided to students who excel in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Social Service or are the recipient of any bravery award.
- Scholarships on the basis of good scores in other national level tests like GATE, UCEED, CEED, JRF, NATA, NEET etc are also provided.
