what is the minimum marks required to get admission in AIIMS,Delhi General
Hi Mridupawan
AIIMS conducts AIIMS MBBS entrance exam every year for admissions to MBBS courses across seven AIIMS Institutes. The cutoff rank (last rank to get admission) for every year is different.
The minimum required percentage to qualify the exam if you belong to General category is 50% which means you need to score 100 marks out of 200. For candidates belonging to OBC category, it is 45% and for SC/ST category, it is 40%. You must note that scoring minimum required percentage does not ensure a seat. This just serves as an eligibility criterion.
Last year, for general category, the cutoff rank was 52 in AIIMS New Delhi. This means that the candidate who scored 52nd rank was the last candidate in general category who secured a seat in AIIMS New Delhi. For candidates belonging to OBC category, the last rank was 5,590, for SC category it was 1,143 and for ST category it was 4,478.
