there are two kinds of courses available in India at undergraduate level one is honors and other is where you generally have a combination of three subjects. now let's say you studied English hons at UG level, now what are the options you have for pg? most certainly MA in English or something related to English. while when you do Bachelor's with 3 different subjects you have three different options for your post-graduation.
