DU BFIA (Bachelor of financial investment and analysis This course is basically focuses on the fundamentals of various financial products and their impacts in the economy due to various global scenarios. It provides technical knowledge of operations of various financial institutions which are operated in insurance companies capital markets, Mutual funds etc. Hence it is a complete course for someone looking to get an upper hand on financial markets and its products.
The written test is conducted to select students for the courses. As such there is no prescribed syllabus or format for the entrance examination. But as per the past records following are the subjects included in the written examination -
Quantitative ability, which is based on the syllabus till class 12 th.
Reasoning and analytical ability.
General English exam
Business awareness and general awareness.
The exam will be for 100 marks which needs to be attempted in 120 minutes.
For each correct answer given by a candidate plus 3 marks will be given and for each wrong answer minus 1 marks will be deducted.
So once you clear the written exam you will be called for GD and interview. Based on the seats for each program 4 to 6 times students will be called from each program.
Final selection for BFIA EXAM is written exam 50 percent 12th exam result 30 percent and interview is 20 percent.
So its a great course if you are really interested in the financial products.
