For the B.A. course at North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, the total fees from 1st to the last semester are generally affordable, as NEHU is a central university.

Semester-wise fees: Around 2,500 to 3,000 per semester this includes tuition, exam, and other basic fees. There are 6 semesters in total for the B.A. program 3 years. So, the total course fee is around 15,000 to 18,000 for all semesters combined.Some additional charges may apply for the library, ID card, or student union, but these are not very big amounts. NEHU campus : Rs 7,000 – Rs 8,000 total (without hostel) , Rs 18,000 with hostel .
Affiliated colleges : Rs 45,000 – Rs 50,000 total (including all charges) .
