Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test(EAMCET) is an entrance examination held by the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for admission into various colleges across both the states in the streams of Engineering, Medicine and Agriculture.

Overall, the difficulty level of the exam used to be moderate.

For the preparation of the exam, Class 11th and class 12 NCERT text books are enough for getting good rank in the exam. If candidates have practiced NCERT books thoroughly and have solved at least five years of question papers can get good in the exam.

For the weightage of the examination,

There are total 160 questions divided as:

• Physics - 40 Questions
• Chemistry - 40 Questions
• Mathematics - 80 Questions

These are all MCQ based and there is no negative marking.
