LPU stands for lovely professional university.

It's India's one of the biggest university, it consists pf 600 acre land, situated at phahara dist in jalandhar, Punjab.

As your question is not that specific, I will just give overview of lpu

So there are more that 45+ principles in lpu which are differ types of streams. If we talk about engineering it's totally an right option to take admission in it.

If you wanted to go towards management side then there is no other college you should choose except LPU because National Institute of Ranking Federation has ranked LPU at 2nd position in whole country.

LPU has collaboration with some organization like google, sap, oracle, yahoo, apple, VMware academy, for the betterment of the students.

There is one benifit of taking admission that it college's Entrance examination which is called LPUNEST. Its the only college in the country which offers you thia much about of scholarship.

• If you score more than 95% in lpunest than 50% of fees would be deducted
• If you score between 90-95% than 40% of your fees would be deducted
• And if you score 80-89% than 30% of your fees is deducted
• Exam fee is 2500/-

The scholarship is not restricted to exam only, if you have any type of national level sports achievement or any type of cultural achievement than by submitting your certificates you can get the scholarship.

So if you are thinking to take admission in LPU just dont think much , LPU will make your career successful.

LPU has an amazing infrastructure and provides a great exposure for students. However, LPU charges a lot of fees from students and I think after paying that amount of fees, the expectation of students also rises. But, it is not even that good. I've read many reviews of students saying that the faculty is not upto the mark. Placement is average.

According to me, you should not keep LPU in your top priorities.
