Hi Rucha!
The cut-off ranks for NEET 2017 for 15% All India Quota at GMC Aurangabad are:
- Unreserved Category: 6249 (The mark corresponding to this could be 570)
- SC Category: 40441(The mark corresponding to this could be 380)
Please note that the marks given are estimations and these ranks may not be applicable for NEET 2018.
More than worrying about marks, I suggest you should focus on your preparation.
Here are some tips for NEET preparation:
- BOOKS: Please follow the link: https://www.careers360.com/question-to-score-top-ranks-in-neet-which-book-should-be-preffered?icn=question-title-details&ici=topic-detail-page
- PAPERS: When you practice these papers, solve them in a mock exam format and analyse your papers after that, outlining strengths and weaknesses. These questions are seldom repeated, their main purpose is to develop time management skills. Check out the link: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-sample-paper
- STUDY MANAGEMENT(applicable for Boards and College as well):
1) Skills: Everybody shows a diversity of study skills and tactics. To know how you learn best, consult you guidance counsellor in school
2) Habits: You need to figure out which duration of the day you attain your peak concentration levels and do the most difficult topics during that time. Study the other topics during other timings. Also, figure out which place is most ideal for you, clear of things you find distracting. 3) Planning: The old saying, "If you are failing to plan, then you're planning to fail" applies here as well. It saves a lot of time as you have an agenda of what you want to accomplish. Don't be disheartened if you are not able to complete one of the goals, no plan can be 100% perfect. I recommend, not to make rigid plans, keep it flexible
- MANAGING YOURSELF: Preparing for this exam is not an easy feat but it is a learning experience. You should also enjoy and keep yourself happy, otherwise a bitter attitude will take a toll on you late
Hope this answers your question!

Dear Rucha, this is a slightly complicated answer due to the various reservations involved at Maharashtra state level. If you can clarify whether you are applying for All India Quota or State Quota, and if under the latter, then as a domicile of which region, I will be able to provide you with the exact cut off as per NEET 2017 trends. Until then, the cut off data for all categories is as given here. If you are asking for the 15% All India Quota seats, then the last rank to secure admissions to GMC Aurangabad through NEET 2017 under Unreserved Quota was 6249. This translates to 574 marks out of 720. Under SC Quota, the last rank to be allotted a seat at GMC Aurangabad was 40,441. This translates to 466 marks out of 720. If you are asking for State Quota seats, then as you may know, Maharashtra conducts admissions on the basis of 3 regions - Vidarbha, Marathwada and Rest Of Maharastra (RoM). Out of the 85% state quota seats, 70% of the seats in colleges in each region are reserved for candidates of that region. The remaining 30% are non-regional. As GMC Aurangabad is in the Marathwada region, a candidate from Marathwada is eligible for 70% of these seats. Apart from these, 1/3rd seats in all categories are reserved for women. Therefore, as per NEET 2017 seat allotment conducted by Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra, the last Unreserved candidate to secure a seat under 70% regional reservation for admissions to GMC Aurangabad secured a NEET Rank of 16,667, which translates to a State Rank of 925 and score of 529 marks out of 720. The last Unreserved candidate to secure a seat under 70% regional reservation with Women quota secured a NEET rank of 14,665, translating to a State Rank of 800 and a score of 536 marks out of 720. The last Unreserved candidate eligible for the 30% Non-Marathwada region category secured a NEET rank of 14,618, translating to a State Rank of 794 and a score of 536 out of 720, while the last candidate from the 30% Non-Marathwada region category with the Women quota secured a NEET Rank of 12,843, translating to a State Rank of 686 and a score of 543 marks out of 720. Under the SC category, a candidate eligible for 70% regional reservation for admissions to GMC Aurangabad secured a NEET Rank of 54,766, translating to a State Rank of 4125 and a score of 439 marks out of 720. The last SC candidate eligible for 70% regional reservation and for Women Quota secured a NEET Rank of 55,404, translating to a State Rank of 4190 and a score of 437 marks out of 720. For the 30% Non-Marathwada region category, the last SC candidate to secure a seat in GMC Aurangabad obtained a NEET Rank of 44,732, translating to a State Rank of 3208 and score of 457 marks out of 720. The last SC candidate to secure a seat in the 30% Non-Marathwada region category along with Women Quota obtained a NEET Rank of 52,579, translating to a State Rank of 3922 and a score of 442 marks out of 720. Hope this helps!
