Since EWS is iintroduced this year, there are no clear idea about it and we don't have any past records to say exactly. However, EWS is 10% of general category and last year, 533 was required to fetch one a seat in the government medical colleges in the general category under the state quota. So, this time with the implementation of EWS scheme, a score of 520 or above would remain a safe zone for the EWS category, by which you can be sure of a government seat.
