Whether a student belonging to general category can apply for rural quota in kcet?

Yes, you can apply for Rural reservation Quota. However, your 10 years of academic study (from 1st to 10th) should be in the schools in Rural Area/s of the state of Karnataka. If your study of 10 years from 1st to 10th is from larger urban area, smaller urban area or transitional area as mentioned in Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964 or Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976, then you can not claim reservation under Rural Area. You also have to produce Rural Study Certificate from 1st to 10th std for Ten Complete Years.
