Honestly speaking, your intermediate books are the best to prepare. Be full focused and attentive in your intermediate studies (10+1 &10+2). For the assessment of your knowledge and understanding you can go through past year papers. Nothing will be best and better than this.

You have not mentioned the course so it is quite difficult to sugest any book. Other than that just try to analyze what you are doing wrong & your weak areas, and work on that.
