I feel that for mathematics BSc Honours will be better to opt for. It will give you more knowledge anouy mathematics and teach you in more depth as compared to BSc general. In this way you will have an upper hand in your future academics. You will be more familiar with the concepts and it will be easier for you to clear national level exams like JAM and GATE.

The basic difference between the general BSc degree and BSc Honours is that the time frame of BSc Honours degree is one or two years more than that of a general BSc degree and it varies from college to college. Another difference is that the syllabus of BSc Hons is is acquired bit heavier than that of a general BSc degree. Also at the time of job searching, if there are two candidates one with a general BSc degree and one with the BSc Honours then the one with the BSc Honours degree will be given preference
