which is better between Cse and Cse with specialisation
Dear Student,
Firstly, it all depends on your interest and passion. If you wish to and have decided a specific niche or a specialization to go for, you must go for it. Otherwise, if you are still confused and want to explore all first, then for go general cse.
CSE contains all the aspects related to computer science and engineering, whereas CSE with specialization involves mostly that particular specialization as whole.
For example, if choose CSE with IoT (Internet of Things) or AI, then the major focus will be to make you expert in IoT or AI whereas, general CSE is a vast course in computer applications and system.
Generally it involves designing and developing computer software/applications and hardware processes. If a student opt for this course, he/she will be able to understand, learn and use various programming languages, networking and telecommunications, digital and analog electronics, etc.
You can study the specialization with general CSE also on Internet and can enhance and advance your skills. Not only this, many colleges nowadays are giving options for AI, ML when a student enters in 5th semester.
Placement wise too there is n ot too much difference but a very slight difference as of now. In some cases, you might be getting the benefit of taking Computer Science with specialization but not all the time.
For instance, a company whose major work is based on AI & ML then for the obvious reason they will first give priority to a candidate who has done CSE with AI & ML as a specialization.
But do not forget that, specialization puts some boundations too because there are not a large number of companies that are based on your specialization, so in this case, CSE has an edge, as there are bulk of companies for them, though most of them allow to sit the specializations students.
Happy Learning!
Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
Both the programs are good in their own ways.
Cse program offers you the information about various fields and different areas involved in your course and covers many concepts.
CSE in specialisation will cover only a particular concept and area in which you are interested in and you’re aiming to specialise in.
So, depends on your interest you could go ahead.
If you wish to pursue and study about a particular area and concept and expertise in it then you can go ahead with CSE In a specialisation you prefer or else you if you wish to prefer to gain knowledge in different areas of CSE then just go ahead with CSE.
I hope the above information helps.
All the very best.
