which is better to earn bsc cardiac care technology or bsc OTAT and which gives better earnings after msc degree ?
Hello Aspirant,
BSc in Cardiac Care Technology and BSc in OTAT (Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology) courses are valuable degrees in paramedics and both offer great career opportunities. However, Cardiac Care Technology usually has a higher earning potential, particularly after completing an MSc in Cardiac Perfusion Technology or Cardiovascular Imaging because of the high demand in critical care and cardiology departments. OTAT degrees also earn strong salaries after with an MSc in Anaesthesia Technology, however growth is slightly more limited and established in their hospital roles.
- Higher Earnings - Cardiac Care (particularly after MSc)
- More Hands on Surgical Role - OTAT
Choose based on their interest in heart care versus surgical/anesthesia care assistance.
