Eligibility criteria: The candidate must have 60% marks in 12th class. (59.9% will not be rounded off as considered to be a 60%). One must have to qualify the entrance exam LPU NEST also. If you are satisfying and eligibility criteria you can take admission and I saw you if you had a good percentage in 10th class are you are having good percentage in 12th class you will get an ample scholarship and the scholarship will continue till your last semester. That means once the scholarship will be conferred to you in first semester it will remain with you till last semester until unless you will not involved in any of the criminal act. Honestly speaking, the quality of education provided at any of the universities in India has been standardized by the autonomous body called University Grants Commission (UGC). In regards to the stream concentric study of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Lovely Professional University, it is undoubtedly a very good idea. The faculty at the CSE department of LPU is just as qualified as any of the popular universities and institutes of India that offer this discipline – names I don’t even need to say! It has produced perfectly efficient computer engineers in the past couple of years who have eventually landed salary packages as high as 28 LPA!

Over the past couple of years, the department has seen a rise in the number of students taking admission in the stream. Due to this, the competition between students within the department has increased, and this has indirectly improved the overall performances of the batch as a whole. Without mentioning unrealistic figures, I am going to say that the students graduating from the CSE branch at LPU get placed more often than any other department from the same university. Not everyone gets placements in a core company, but they will get placed in companies functioning in various other fields.

Don’t be disheartened. It is a great opportunity for the engineering graduates, as a job in any field (better, if related to technology) will in the long run help you grab work experience, which in turn will lead you to have your dream career with your dream package… Any engineering stream will make you qualified enough for good jobs. It is just how you plan your moves and your journey. With the right mindset and experience, you will land yourself a great job!

LPU provides different classes for placements which helps in grooming. Students are trained in Aptitude, Reasoning, free preparation for Govt Exams, Soft Skills and language training, Interview skills right from the 1st year, continuously for 2/3/4( duration of course) years till they get the job.

Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. Companies like Microsoft,Amazon,Dell,Dainkin,HCL,Bosch,Samsung are visiting campus for recruitment.

CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies.
Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too.

Due to this pandemic situation,Now a days online Induction is going on,University conducted different webinars for freshers,different online talent show is going on. Students are reporting virtually.The live online classes that we will be initiating are much like face-to-face classes only and their effectiveness has already been well tested in the last semester wherein more than 35,000 hours of online sessions were conducted for LPU students across various academic programs. University have planned to start with live online classes on LPU "MyClass" platform.

LPU would be a better option to opt CSE because LPU provides a better quality of education as well as placements to the students.

Being an Alumni of Lovely Professional University, I can proudly say that choosing LPU as my academic partner was one of my best decision. I have done my Engineering and MBA from LPU.

Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology UG Programmes at LPU have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. Developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students is an important focus area throughout the duration of the programme.

The students are encouraged to undertake assignments/project work from the industry and work towards finding possible solutions to integrate their theoretical knowledge with industrial practices. Keeping in view the employment potential, in-depth knowledge is provided to the students through department electives in computer networks, artificial intelligence, databases and information systems as well as computer programming and algorithms.

Placements and Internships Opportunities offered by the University placement department (Division of Career Services, DCS) ensure that students get hands-on experience in working in the industry. The multinational giant Bosch hired 42 computer Science students to post a series of rounds designed to test intricate knowledge of core computer Science concepts.

The avid performers were given a placement offer of 5 LPA and 24 more were selected for internship opportunities at Bosch. Fourteen of our young achievers bagged placement offers in one of the top-notch product based company [Amazon] equaling a package of 6 LPA. They got the offer post a grueling series of rounds in which their algorithmic skills were put to test. VMware Inc. a subsidiary of Dell Technologies providing cloud computing and platform virtualization software and services selected 9 of our students for a placement offer worth 9.12 LPA. LPU students Mr. Karampuri Vivek, Mr. Manish Tolani and Mr. Ashish Kaktan of School of Computer Science and Engineering are placed in Amazon at the package of 28LPA for their expertise in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

Both of the universities are good at their own place. Here you need to do the comparison . A good university is the one where is good faculty, infrastructure, placements, events etc. By comparing these features you can take the decision. You can visit to websites of both or can visit to campus. One of my known is in LPU in the same course. Reviews are pretty good. But you need to be wise. Take your decision by yourself.

Both universities are good at there own place but if you want to chose one of them than go for LPU. Because LPU is much better in terms of infrastructure, placement, faculties and other conditions also. LPU also got many national award and it provide very good placement opportunities to students. Faculties at LPU is very good and infrastructure is amazing with high quality of internet speed.
