Admission in NIFT is based on merit in NIFT entrnace exam and a candidate is allotted a seat based on his/her category rank. The cut off rank depends on number of applicants applied for a particular course, category of the candidate, number of seats available, difficulty of exam etc. The cut off varies for each category, branch and campus.
