why diploma holders are not eligible for taking admission through jee mains

Diploma Holders are not eligible as per AICTE as the rules permit only Scienece stream PCM students who have completed class 12th with Minimum 50% marks.
Moreover, the Diploma students are given lateral entry on basis of their aggregated score jn three years and the admission is injected into secind year of Engineering directly.
For Science stream PCM students, engineering starts from first year as they have completed only two years before that.

Diploma walo ka btech mein lateral entry hota hein, jo vo btech k bad Karte hein. Uske liye alag sa exam hein. But jee mains don't have any lateral entries..
