Will NEET replace AIIMS entrance exam?

Aiims and neet can't be merged either for ug Or for pg courses.

And in case of aiims and jipmer they can be merged in upcoming years because there are only two colleges of jipmer and they would like to merge with aiims. As a profit.

In the relief to medical students wauting to pursue PG courses, the union health ministry has proposed to do away with neet pg instead the final MBBS examination would be enough for admission to MD and MS programmes.The amendment has been incorporated in the revised draft National medical commision  bill which would be sent to cabinet soon,official sources told PTI.

According to a recent news released today " According to the amendments made in the fresh NMC Bill, entry to PG programmes will be on the basis of the results of the National Exit Test (NEXT), which will be held as a common exam across the country. So, candidates will not have to appear in a separate exam for admission to PG courses," .
