Will they increase the cut off rank in colleges for neet 2019 karnataka state quota for 2nd round counselling

Dear Akash, the cut offs will remain the same. Its just the students in the  merit list after a certaibn number that are called for Round 2. For example lets say in the first merit list, 1-5000 ranked candidates were called in and all the seats havent been filled in, the ranks from 5001-10000 will be called for Round 2. Cut offs will remain the same.

The cut off for 2nd round of counselling depends on various factors like number cut off of first round , number of seats remaining etc.

This year the cut off has increased due to lot of students getting more marks than previous year.

The cut off of round 2 will be more than what was in 2018 , but will be low from cut off of 1st round of 2019 so as to open opportunities for students with less marks compared to those who took the seat in 1st round itself .
