Does 12th class percentage matter for those students who clear hpcet but failed to clear jee main and are from sc and bpl category

Shreya Giri 3rd Jun, 2019
Hello,
You don't have to qualify JEE Mains if you have qualified HPCET. There are 50% seats for JEE mains and 50% seats for HP CET.
Belonging to a reserved category you have to score minimum 40% marks in boards. however this percentage of marks won't be considered while calculating your rank. Your rank will be calculated on the basis of your performance in HPCET and s merit list will be prepared according to that.
Hope this helps good luck!

Sir I got 65.5% marks in hpcet and 81% in 12th and 82%in 10th. tell me sir I got a govt seat in govt college

AYUSH SHRIVASTAVA 3rd Jun, 2019

If you are from the general category, then it is next to impossible for you to get into government colleges.

However, you should not lose hope as there are many good private colleges available to you.

The only thing that you should keep in mind now is to work very hard in college to get amazing placements.

Best of luck for your future!

Can we claim 10 % general quota in Hpcet counselling by showing required certificates

Ayisha Siddiqa H 2nd Jun, 2019

Hi Sharma,

Yes you can claim by showing your community certificate and if EWS your income certificate.

In fact you have to submit your community certificate for sure and the 10% reservation has to be done nd will be done for evryone without the need to claim for it,but still you can claim for it just in case the officials conducting the counselling might miss the fact and you may lose your rightful claim.

Good Luck.
