Dear aspirant,

In most of the colleges, average marks of 55% in your BSc biotechnology makes you eligible for MSc biotechnology. However admission in some insitutes require good scores respective entrance exams.

Some colleges that provide admission in MSc biotechnology without entrance exams are:

  1. Rajiv Gandhi centre for biotechnology, kerla
  2. IP University, Delhi
  3. National dairy research institute, karnal
  4. Institute of chemical technology, Mumbai
  5. Hislop college, Nagpur

Some Institutes that require entrance exams for MSc biotechnology along with the name of these exams are listed below:

  1. IIT Bombay, IIT-JAM
  2. IIT Roorkee, IIT-JAM
  3. AIIMS, AIIMS. MSc

Dear student, the eligibility criteria for msc in jnu is:
Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree with Physics as one of the subjects in any discipline under 10+2+3 education pattern securing at least 55 per cent marks in aggregate.

Candidates who have qualified Bachelors Degree either in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined or in Physics Honours or with B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Computer are also eligible.
Since you have done b tech in mechanical, you are definitely eligible.

What will be the JNUEE pattern for MA history, sociology and political science? As it is Computer Based Test, what kind of questions would be asked objective type or descriptive type?

Might be they changed some of the answers of questions asked in the exam or some marking might have been changed due to which new marks have been given to the students. The updated marks will be your final marks now and now the will consider this for the counselling.

NTA will conduct JNUEE in online mode, the entrance exam will be MCQs based through Computer Based Test, candidates needs to be well-acquainted wit the knowledge related to Economics at graduation level, so go through your graduation studies books for this, of economics issues of national and international importance of recent times/past.some of the important areas for preparation pertains to micro-economics such as cost curves, demand curves, price and income elasticity of demand, equilibrium of firm under monopoly and perfect competition etc and macro-economics which includes topics such as monetary policy, national income, trade and balance of payments etc, descriptive statistics, elementary probability theory, problems pertaining to economics in its development and growth, especially how India has fared in economics prior to its independence, the basic indicators involved in developments etc.

NTA is going to conduct theJawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE) in CBT mode from October 5 to 8 th 2020.

The admit card was supposed to be released on 21st Septmeber but has not been released yet. It is expected to release anytime soon hence I request you to keep visiting jnuexams.nta.nic.in .
