  • Candidates will be tested in their basic knowledge in the core subjects of Life/ Biological Sciences.
  • The test would contain subject-specific questions encompassing different branches of Life/Biological Sciences taught at the under graduate level in various UGC affiliated colleges /institutions in the country.
  • There is no specific syllabus designed for the test, but the candidates are advised to follow the UGC approved syllabus in their respective subjects for guidance.

what is jnuee syllabus in ancient history

Akash kumar 14th Sep, 2020

Hey there!

In the JNUEE, when you apply for M.A history, you have to choose the specific period i.e Ancient/Medieval or the Modern History. You can not change it later on once it has been filled in the application form.

The question paper has three sections and in the last section, you are given the question based on the time period you chose. As you must be aware, what all aspect we cover in the Ancient history will be there in the course, most probably till the 7th or 8th century A.D. From the mesolithic times, vedas, indus valley civilisation, Janpadas, guptas, mauryas and all other things that are part of ancient history are in the syllabus.
