There are 3 options provided in each round of JOSAA counselling namely float, slide and freeze. In case you have opted for freeze option then your selected choice will be locked and the seat will be yours, you'll just have to wait and regularly check the allotted institute

There is no other necessity or process in which you have appear before AP EAMCET allotment. You just clear the AP EAMCET exam and wait for counselling.

PGCET will only provide colleges to students clearing the cutoff, and depending on the availability of seats in colleges. Admission won't be provided to everyone.
