I passed out this year but i have a backlog, can i eligible for gate?????

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 3rd Sep, 2019
Dear Tushar, if you have a backlog, technically you should complete it before the final semester of your current course. If you can clear your backlog within 4 years along with the final semester exams, you are eligible to appear for GATE. But because you have a backlog but already passed out, unfortunately you are not eligible for GATE.You should complete your backlog to be eligible.

I did not register for either the counseling rounds or the mop-up round. Can I still apply for the stray vacancy round? If so, how?

Diksha gupta 3rd Sep, 2019
Hi,

You can apply if any subsequent rounds of mop up rounds occur. You have to wait for the admission of students. If seats are left vacant, then a subsequent counseling would occur or the seats would be reverted back to respective states. You can apply for statemop up counselling or you can contact the college regarding the stray vacancies.

Otherwise you can try for other courses like paramedical courses whose counselling is yet to begin in many states.

I hope this helps.

All the best.

what is the minimum marks to get seat in Mysore medical college for physically challenged student in 2020 in neet

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 2nd Sep, 2019
Dear Nitya, PWD is a horizontal reservation which means it is a reservation that you can avail within your Category. For example, if you belong to General Category and you are eligible for availing PWD benefits, you will be considered u der UR-PWD. For being eligible for this Category, you should have scored 45 percentile of top NEET score. That will be the cut off. Now it is 40 percentile of top NEET score for OBC,SC,ST. Now this formula will remain the same though the cut offs change every year. We are yet to have 2019 details. But in 2018, the cut offs for various Categories under State Quota have been as follows:

General Category: 443
OBC: 378
SC: 349
ST: 446

So based on your Category, you should aim for atleast more than 70-80 marks from 2018.

What is cut off for BDS in a general category? As im giving 2019th NEET

Ankur Dubey Student Expert 2nd Sep, 2019
Hello

As their are less seats of BDS in AIQ

So the cut off will be 2 to 3 marks less than mbbs
So
520-535 , if considering every other factor !!
This is the minimum score which a person should score so as to be on the safe side for a BDS Seat..!

I hope it will help you
Good luck
