UPTU stands for the Uttar Pradesh Technical University. For lateral entry to different colleges of UPTU, you must appear for the Lateral Entry Entrance test conducted by technical board of education of UPTU.

Hey Deepanshu,

Yes are eligible to Admission in Btech after Pursuing BSc or Diploma. You will be eligible for admission through lateral entry then. And must have score at least 50% in your BSc to be eligible for Admission. There is 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

like private colleges conduct their own entanceexam and then they conduct personal interviews on that basis admission are done

If you have passed 10+2 from NIOS 9r any other government recognisee board then yes you are eligible to get admission in Btech. You can appear in different entrance exam as well. It just that the board you have passed from must have to be government recognised.
