I got 145 marks in neet from general category. Can I get any private college for bams or bhms?

rajaman9300 Student Expert 5th Jun, 2019

Hello News Bullet

As per the previous year(2018) eligibility norms, you have very less chances to get admission in a BHMS college with 145 marks in the NEET.(Considering General Category)

Some of the bhms colleges, give admission to students on the basis of 10+2 level of education. Yes, they just have eligibility of 10+2 level just. Few of them are mentioned below :-

1). Metropolitan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (MHMCH), Kolkata

2). Pratap Chandra Memorial Homoeopathic Hospital & College (PCMHHC), Kolkata

3). Birbhum Vivekananda Homoeopathic Medical College (BVHMCH), Birbhum

Hello
I am extremely sorry but your scores seems to be quite low to get a seat in any of the courses under neet. To get admission in any of these courses you must qualify the neet examination.
Don't loose hope there are many other things you can do or try harder and try for neet 2020.
Goodluck I hope this helps you

Hello, my score is 55% in boards and pcb group is not qualified and my neet score is 109 can i get admission in bams Or Bhms??

Saptarshi Mazumdar 4th Jun, 2019

Rutuja,

Since BAMS and BHMS are added to NEET on last year only, it's a bit tough to predict the Cut off marks. Well, it is near about 290 according to last year. But without clearing PCB you cannot take admission in either BAMS or BHMS.

Hello there , so the thing is first of all you have to clear neet UG with required percentile if you clear your exam you may apply for BHMS or BAMS , but with low score you have low chances of getting admission.

How many marks are required for BHMS in obc category in neet 2019 ?

Ronit Jain 25th Apr, 2019

For getting a BHMS seat in a government college, you should be scoring a minimum of 400. Though the marks vary each and every year depending upon the college you want to get into, depending on your domicile state. To increase your odds of selection you should atleast get 400-450 for a BHMS seat in OBC category.

How much marks are needed to get admission in bhms ?

atulranjan2306 Student Expert 24th Apr, 2019

Hiii...

As per your query about marks cutoff.. I would like to tell you it varies very year... It depends on lots of factors like difficulty level of paper and number of students getting that mark etc... It also depends on.. It will be different for Government, Private and Deemed medical colleges.... Also it will differ you applying from All india quota 15% or State quota 85%... Cut off of state quota is usually lower than all india quota.... Now in each of these quota its further divided into categories like OPEN/SC/ST/OBC..... Etc..
BUT GOING BY PREVIOUS YEAR TREND A BAMS, BHMS SEAT is obtained around 450 - 500 marks range..
Hopefully it helps
