Key Details:

  • Program : M.E. in Computer Science

  • Expected Cutoff (2024) : ~150

  • Eligibility : Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Admission Process : Based on performance in the BITS HD Entrance Exam.

Please note that the cutoff can vary each year based on factors like the number of applicants and exam difficulty. It's advisable to check the official BITS Pilani website or contact their admissions office for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

My PCM agregate 66.6% which is less than 75% So, i will give improvement exam next year cbse. My question is that if i only give PCM improvement exam the next year then am i eligible for bits OR i should give all exams including PCM and LANGUAGE

Kishan Bhakat 15th May, 2025

Hi,

If your PCM aggregate is 66.6% and you're planning to give an improvement exam to meet the 75% eligibility for JEE Advanced, then yes—you can appear for improvement next year. Make sure you improve in at least the required subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Math) to push your aggregate above 75%. CBSE allows improvement in one or more subjects.

Just ensure you appear only in the subjects you want to improve, and keep checking JEE guidelines for updates.

Hope this helps!

Can I get in BITS if my one of the subjectwise marks is less than 60 but my aggregate is greater than 75 in 12th boards

Rubina Naseer 13th May, 2025

Dear candidate,

I am very much sorry to say that you cannot enroll in BITD Pilani if any of the subject is below 60%.

You must score atleast 75% marks in PCM(all). Also minimum 60% marks in all thr three subjects. This was strictly followed even for toppers in BITSAT.

All the best!!!

i got 950 marks in ipe can i get admission in bits hyb

harsh singh 13th May, 2025

With 950/1000 in IPE, you meet the eligibility for BITS Hyderabad, as you likely have 75% in PCM. However, admission depends on your BITSAT score. Your IPE marks help, but the final seat allotment depends on your BITSAT performance and rank. Prepare well for the BITSAT exam to improve your chances.

I had opted to be considered under both the HD Test and GATE Score for admission under BITS. After the first iteration, I have already been allocated to a program that was my first priority. Also completed the fee payment process. So if my admission is already done do I need to appear for exam.

Rohan 10th May, 2025
  • Since you've been allocated to your first-choice program and completed the fee payment, admission is confirmed .

  • No need to appear for further exams if the admission is already finalized.

  • Double-check official BITS communication or contact the admissions office for any additional requirements.

I am from tamil nadu state board , I wish to join bits and preparing for bitsat2025 I dont meet the 75% eligibility criteria for bits My bords didnt allow improvement exams .... What should I do next???

Rohan 9th May, 2025
  • Contact BITS Pilani: Explain your situation and check for any flexibility regarding the 75% criteria.

  • Consider Other Universities:

    • VIT (VITEEE), SRM (SRMJEE), MIT Manipal—no 75% criteria.

  • Prepare for JEE Main: If eligible, JEE Advanced opens doors to IITs and NITs.

  • BITS Foundation Program: Some universities offer preparatory courses that can help you meet eligibility later.
