Is this new reservation in neet applicable to only central Universities and seats given by states for AIQ or all state universities also like during 2nd counselling with 85% quota??

Priya Bansal 19th Sep, 2021

Hello Avantika!

The reservation changes are only applicable to the AIQ quota seats in which 27% reservation for OBC has been added. It is not applicable to the state quotas and the previous reservation criteria will be followed.

The major change concerns NEET PG where previously there wasn’t 27% reservation (as opposed to NEET UG) for the OBCs.

Nonetheless, it‘s better to focus on the giving your best in the exams. Rest all falls into place with time. Wishing you the best of luck with your career ahead!
