Hello Aspirant,
It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of your admission chances for any particular campus or branch because the cut-offs keep on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-
*** number of candidates appeared in KCET 2022
*** difficulty level of the paper
*** top score for KCET 2022
*** total number of seats available for admission and so on
However on the basis of previous year's cut-off you have good chances in following colleges for Chemical engineering :-
M V J College of Engineering Bangalore
Siddaganga Institute of Technology Tumkur
KLE Technological University(Formerly KLE Dr.MS Sheshagiri Col.) Belgaum
And some more....
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/kcet-cutoff
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
You can also use KCET College Predictor for more accurate predictions :-

Well, both branches are good…
it depends on your interest
A chemical engineering degree will open up more career options than a petroleum engineering degree if you fail to get into the oil and gas industry.
Chemical engineering deals with all types of processes be it fertilizers, pharmaceuticals, oil&gas etc. However, petroleum engineering is specific to oil and gas.
hope it will help, good luck
