Since in recent years PEC is at downfall continually and NITJ is becoming better (not considering nirf ranking as according to it nit hamirpur is much better than NITJ which is not true is any field). The environment of PEC is much open which is a major drawback

ICE is one of the best branch of NIT JALANDHAR. Every year ICE’s 95–100% students get placement. After CSE and ECE,ICE is the best in NITJ. Every year syllabus update only in ICE. Faculty is also good. 1st rank holder in GATE 2018 in ICE is also from NIT

i suggest you Nit jalandhar mechanical is better than punjab engineering college in all terms like placement and also mechanical of course has the best scope in future it can also be called as evergreen branch.

Afterall NIT's are always better than local engineering colleges.

The fees is same for all Btech students branch does not matter,your total fees may approxiamately sum around 3lakhs for 4years of Btech.

I guess you are getting chemical engineering in nit Jalandhar and mechanical engineering in uiet.

Choose NIT Silchar for CSE than any of the CSE or IT at NIT Jalandhar. NIT Silchar at least has a better reputation than NIT Jalandhar. NIT Silchar is country wide known and is a good institute to join. Don't get tangled with the facts of lower cutoff ranks.

326 is very less for mbbs and bds if you are looking for govt college. So here is a less chance. This may fetch you a seat in private college as most of them give admission once you clear the cut off. Private Bams,bums and vet also is possible.
