In JEE counselling admission is provided in 114 institutes . This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 33 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).

CUCET or also known as Central Universities Common Entrance Test is a national level entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The CUCET entrance exam 2022 will be conducted in computer-based mode. Central Universities Common Entrance Test or CUCET is an online entrance exam conducted for admission to UG, PG, Integrated PG, and Doctoral level programs offered by 12 central universities. There are 12 engineering universities that accept CUCET for admissions in engineering courses. National Testing Agency will release the CUCET 2022 application form in July at cucet.nta.nic.in.
