Traditionally, PCM and PCB subject combination has been mandatory for entry into UG programmes at engineering institutes across India. However, National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 called for removal of compartmentalised education systems.

Admission in Engineering Colleges without Entrance Exam

Every year more than 50 entrance exams are held for admission in engineering colleges. Without appearing in entrance exams, You can get engineering admission on the basis of 12th marks.

PCM important but not compulsory for certain engineering courses: AICTE. ... “Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will continue to be important subjects for certain streams of engineering like mechanical engineering, its not that these subjects will lose their relevance.

Well this depends on college to college but if you take permission from your college administration then you will surely pay fee in instalment but in some cases it depends on fee also like you have very minimal fee then you have to pay fee in lump sum but you have big amount then you contact your administration for this regards.
