Both the colleges are affiliated to Anna university, Chennai. Course study time is 4 years and Aicte approved courses. In kongu engineering college it will take 2 lakh to study. Whereas in Bannari Amman college, it will take 3lakh to study. In management quota it will increase more.

yes there is good placement in pondicherry University. There are many off campus or on site interviews which is a bit challenging but if you qualify you will get a good amount of salary.
