Keep tome table, have revision thoroughly, Make notes, give mock samole exams and anakyse paper pattern carefully are some keys.

One most important thing, cut off is not only dependent on your GATE score and AIR but largely depends upon your profile (As in the case of any good other B-school).

last year cutoff for PGDIE
General 720-750+
Obc-540-560
SC 520-550+
ST 450-500+
