PSUs accept GATE score for recruitment.The cut off for General category will be 70+.So with 55 marks it is difficult to getin PSUs.The cut off will be different for each PSU.And there are very less PSUs which takes Computer Engineering graduates.NLC, a PSU had a cut off of 78.67

For your gate marks, your score will be in range of 440-450. For this score the possible colleges are-
IIIT Jabalpur, NIT Jaipur, NIT Calicut, IIT Madras among the top college. And you may get some state government college along with other private colleges.

Your Statements seems to be contradictory. I may be wrong but as far as i know you can't do Mtech in Aerospace by Appearing and scoring for GATE in ME.
If you wanted to do Mtech in Aerospace then you should have opted Aerospace Engineering (AE) Paper instead
