Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi
Hello,
Most of the B.Sc. Nursing seats in IPU are filled through NEET. Very few seats, if any, remain for CET candidates in later rounds or spot rounds. With a CET rank of 169, your chances are very low because priority is given to NEET qualifiers.
You can still wait for the spot round, but chances are limited.
Hope it helps !
Yes, there was a Spot Round for BA LLB admissions at IPU. It serves as a last-chance allotment stage after the regular counselling rounds for students who could not secure a seat earlier. In this round, vacant seats are filled purely on the basis of merit and availability. For 2025, Spot Round 1 has already taken place, and it was the final phase of the admission process. Students were required to register, pay the spot round fee, and physically report for seat allotment.
Hello
Irrespective of whether you have been alloted a seat or not, if you wish to participate in further rounds of IPU counselling, then you will need to submit the required amount of money.
So submit that amount of money to participate in further rounds of counselling.
Thank You!!!
If you forgot to select the Delhi quota while registering for DU or IPU admissions, you may have missed the correction window that usually opens after initial registration, like the one Delhi University offered from July 6 to July 11, 2025.
While some changes are allowed during preference filling, particularly if you haven't locked your choices, changing basic details after submission is generally not possible.
However, since you passed 11th and 12th in Delhi, you are eligible for the 85% Delhi quota, which reserves seats in Delhi Government technical institutions. Your best course of action is to contact the university admission authorities directly via their helpline numbers (DU: 011-27006900, IPU: 011-25302167, 011-25302169) or email admissiongrievances@ipu.ac.in
HELLO,
Yes , you can take admission in a PG course at IP university if you have successfully obtained your undergraduate degree. What matters for PG admission is that you must have final degree that certifies you have cleared the minimum required credits and are eligible for graduation
Key Points :-
1.Since you mentioned you have secured the minimum credits required and will be awarded the degree, you are eligible
2.Dropper subjects or backlogs do not affect your PG admission once the degree is officially awarded
3.For PG admission in IPU the requirements is a recognized bachelors degree with the minimum percentage as per the specific course
4.You will need to appear for the entrance test conducted by IPU like IPU CET and qualify as per the merit list.
Hope this helps!
Doing an MBA from Indraprastha University (IPU) can be a good option if you're looking for affordable education, government affiliation, and decent faculty. However, placements vary by college under IPU — top colleges like USMS or BFS offer better opportunities than others. Evaluate based on ROI, specialization, and your career goals before deciding.
Hi dear candidate,
There are NO worries as for your kind information, the GGSIPU reserves 85% of it's seats for Delhi domicile and this includes both UG and PG courses. You can register for 2026 IPU CET exam next year for PG courses as the 2025 exam have been conducted already.
BEST REGARDS
Hello student,
It might cause a minor issue if the name in your online application does not exactly match the documents you submitted. Usually, such mismatches are questioned during the document verification process at the time of admission or counselling. To avoid trouble, it's best to prepare an affidavit stating that both names refer to the same person your mother. You can get this affidavit made through a local notary. Also, keep any supporting documents where your mother's full name is written like Aadhaar card or any school document. If possible, inform the IPU authorities or NIMCET helpdesk in advance and ask for clarification. It's always better to be proactive.
Good luck with your admission!
First of all, congratulations on appearing for the NFSU entrance exam that’s already a big achievement. Now regarding scholarships, NFSU offers several scholarship schemes, but most of them are either merit-based or need-based.With a score of 41.25 in the general category, your chances of a merit-based scholarship might be low unless the cutoff drops or your score is considered decent based on your course’s popularity. However, don’t lose hope! NFSU also considers financial need and special categories like SC/ST/OBC, single girl child, etc. Some scholarships are also sponsored by government bodies, so you can apply separately for those.
Since you’re a female candidate, also check for schemes like Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students and PM Scholarship you may be eligible under those if your family income is within the limit.
I’d suggest contacting the NFSU Delhi campus directly for the latest updates on available scholarships.
Best of luck,
Hello!
f you have freezed your B.Tech CST seat in the third round of GGSIPU counselling it means you have accepted the allotted seat and confirmed that you do not want to participate in further rounds of regular counselling. However yes you can still participate in spot round but to participate in spot round you have to leave your alloted seat that means you will lose your current seat. Then you have to pay fresh fees again for the spot round seat.
Also No upgradation is guaranteed in spot round so if you are 100% sure that you can get a better seat and you are ready to take the risk than you can go for it.
