The admissions will be done on the basis of jee mains scores and 12th scores. 30% weightage is given to the 12th scores and 70% weightage is given to jee mains scores.
So, if you are attempting the 2nd session of jee mains try to score good in it . But you do have chances to get a seat in sastra university as your 12th score is good but your jee mains rank shouldn't be more than 2L rank.

There aren't many companies that visit here and thus, around 30% students get placed. There is a placement cell but it does not offer good placements.
