I gave jee advanced and got 30 marks and St category rank is 822 is I get IIT college through councelling

ARYAN SAGAR 11th Nov, 2020
Dear student,

Josaa counseling is held fir student who want to take admission in iit (on the basis of their jee advanced rank) and for nits, iiits, gftis (on the basis of their jee mains rank).
Now, even if you try to get any iit college then even you can't get it. Because the josaa counseling is over. And now, you will be no more rounds. Josaa counseling seat allotment process is finished for this year. The round 6 cutoff results had also neen declared.

Even if you have secured a good rank, then also you cannot get admission in any iit. Veacus fir getting into iit your must have to attend the josaa counseling.

So, you can take admission in iit next by giving the next jee advanced of you have attempts left.

Also with this much st rank, there is no chance for you to get any iit college.

Check out the seat allotment result for josaa 6th round :-

Ive given UCEED for B.Des and Im eligible for IIT Bombay. What range of placement package I can expect?

Pakshal Ghiya 19th Dec, 2020

Hello,

First of all congratulations.

As you have asked,

It depends on the profile of the job. The average will be around 9lpa. But the highest ones can go up to thrice the average.

Design is something you should come only if you like, coming in for salary wouldn’t be a wise choice. Your choice closes lots of doors such as other fields.

So,

Choose wisely.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Dec, 2020

Hi

First of all you cannot get admission in IIT Bombay after your 10th as a minimum qualification of 12th is required.

Second thing is your marks and percentage obtained by you in class 10th is not considered for checking your eligibility for IIT.

Here's a small brief of how you can get admission in IIT

Admission in IIT is on the basis of JEE advanced examination.

To be eligible for JEE advanced you need to clear JEE Mains examination first.

So for getting admission in IIT or joining IITs you need to clear JEE main first and then JEE advanced , the eligibility criteria for both the examination is given below:-

JEE MAINS

Eligibility criteria says that to be eligible for JEE mains 2021 for BE or Btech you just must be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent in 2021 or should have passed it in 2020 or 2019 with Physics, mathematics and anyone of Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.

JEE ADVANCED

To be eligible you must qualify JEE mains and also need to pass your class 12th with at least 75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to general or obc category or at least 65% marks if belongs to SC/ST or must be in the top 20 percentile in class 12 examination.

If you manage to qualify JEE advanced then you can get admission in IIT on the basis of rank obtained by you in jee advanced examination by participating in jossa counselling
