Firstly, congratulations for scoring so great in JEE Advance, it's no easy job, and you did it great. Now, coming to your JEE Advance rank, i would say that it's not really probable that you will get a seat for computer science in IIT Dhanbad, because the closing rank is under 400 in IIT Dhanbad, but you will definitely get a seat in ECE branch, because the closing rank extends upto 1k in IIT dhanbad.

The National Institutes of Technology are one of the best for Engineering in India. For admission to them, you need to first answer the JEE-Mains examination. After the AIR is declared NIT will conduct its counselling process where students can choose their branch and stream according to rank. So, the highest rank is given first choice. Then, the admission is done accordingly.
