no it is not always that all subjects there is interview sessions, some of the subjects admission is done only through gate score, once the application is submitted candidates selected by there gate score on respective subjects, now if the iits exam authority can makes it challenging for some

Hello Aspirant,
According to previous cutoffs, you can't get into IIT, NIT, GFTI but you can try for some private institutes and if you have reserved quota then it will be beneficial for you. Better is to score more in April attempt.

see this year gate cutoff for electrical engineering is going to increase, so we expect that the cutoff will be higher for ee, however the cutoff for psu's also depends on number of vacancy will come, but you have decent chances for nits and lower rank iits like iit

To get admission into NIT you have to fullfill the following crteria

  • First you have to qualify JEE Mains
  • Score minimum 75 percent or be in top 20 percentile of your respective board in class 12
  • Then you have to qualify JEE Advanced and scores a good All
