I got 61% in 12th board exams I have st category and 65% in board is mandatory for NIT /IIT admission?? Any other option is there

Aratrika_1559127268 Student Expert 10th Jul, 2019

Hi

Unfortunately no. There's no other option through which you can take admission in NIT/IIT with 61% in 12th Board Examination.

A thing can be done. Apply for subject Improvement Examination. Sit for the exam the next year and score better. With 61% your application will certainly be rejected.

Saloni 9th Jul, 2019

hi naveen,

54000 category rank is very high and you wont be able to get a decent college.

Though with OBC and home state quota, there might be an increased chance of you getting a seat but with such a rank it is very hard to get a good college
