Unfortunately no. There's no other option through which you can take admission in NIT/IIT with 61% in 12th Board Examination.
A thing can be done. Apply for subject Improvement Examination. Sit for the exam the next year and score better. With 61% your application will certainly be rejected.

54000 category rank is very high and you wont be able to get a decent college.
Though with OBC and home state quota, there might be an increased chance of you getting a seat but with such a rank it is very hard to get a good college

Mtech in iits are a dream of many and doing Mtech from iits and IISC is no less than a dream come true for many .For Mtech IITs conduct GATE and they take admission through gate in the various Mtech programs.
