As per the official notification,the eligiblity criteria for admission to NITs, IITs and other government colleges through JEE exam is that candidate should have qualified class XII boards with atleast 75% aggregate marks for general category and 65% marks for SC,ST and PwD.

Taking drop alway don't prove good to everyone ,my advice is that you take a college and don't take drop.for any good IIT you first of all need to clear JEE advance and with a good rank you can get a good IIT .

Sorry but i want to tell you that expected cut off marks for obc-ncl is 115 and for pwd it's 64 marks 

So on a serious note i would like to tell you it's hard to get a seat at 70 marks so wait for counsling.

For IIT there is only one exam which is JEE ADVANCED. However, before that, you have to give another exam JEE Mains and qualify it. Only then you are eligible for JEE ADVANCED. Moreover, you should also be in your top 20% students among your board. For CBSE
