See every college has different rules , many colleges like nit and IIT have rules like , if any candidate deposited the fees but in spot round he gets another college, then the previous college transfer the fees to this new college and it is settled with your new college

it is for sure that every iit does not have msc genetics program . i have heard about iit delhi and iit chennai offers msc genetics but i am not that sure about what other eligibility criterias they recquire

Since, you have mentioned your rank so I'm assuming this would be your JEE mains rank. 

With 22k EWS rank

1. You cannot expect an IIT because IIT's admit undergrad from an  eniterly seperate paper which in named JEE advanced.

Well brother, at this socre you might have cleared JEE advanced. So, firslty congratulations for this. 

Now addressing the question, it would be almost impossible at this rank to expect a seat at IIT.

You haven't mentioned your category, so I assume you are a general category student. Based on previous year data you might clear the cut off and your rank with 120 marks will be around 12,000. Unfortunately at this rank it will be difficult to get into any IIT
