Sharon Rose Student Expert 23rd Sep, 2020

Hello,

A candidate with 532 marks belonging to ST category secured seat in Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, UP. This was the cut off rank in 2019. However, the cut off is subjected to change depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam, number of candidates qualified, number of seats available etc. It is difficult to predict the cut off.To have decent chances of getting seat your score must be in between 540-550 marks.

Here is the link to the cut off for AIQ seats in 2019 for GMC

I am getting 525+ marks in neet 2020 i am from st category can i get admission in ims bhu medical college (rajasthan domicile)

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 23rd Sep, 2020

With a score of 525, your rank might be approximately between 32796-37464 . This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank . In 2018, under All India Quota, a score of 511 secured a seat in BHU under SC Category. So with a score of 525 and above you do have chances.

Having said that, this is based on 2018 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Sir, I am general Category student from chhattisgarh domicile , getting 520 + marks in Neet 2020 , Can I get addmission in IMS, Varanasi, please tell me

Abhyudaya Singh 22nd Sep, 2020
Hello Sidharth
Your NEET score of 520+ are predicted to convert into rank ranging-39425to 50575. With these ranks it highly difficult for you to get government medical college.Last year cutoff for government medical college was itself around 580 for general category.
Talking about IMS Varanasi last year cutoff for general category was 669 rank with marks around 650. So it is very difficult to say that you can get admission in IMS

pdwords Student Expert 20th Sep, 2020

Hello,

With 550 your expected rank will be 24150 - 28300, as per previous year data for AIQ, the chances seem less for SMS Jaipur or IMS BHU, in case you have domicile of Rajasthan then may be there can be possibility of SMS Jaipur, cut-offs change every year and based on various factors like top NEET score, difficulty level of paper, number of candidates appearing etc.

641 Marks expected,U.P. domicile .general category. Will I get MBBS seat in IMS BHU?

Sunil Kumar singh 19th Sep, 2020

Hi dear,

You have scored 641 marks that means your expected rank will between 946-1714. You can also check here

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank/amp&ved=2ahUKEwju8rS1xPTrAhXJw4sBHQ67DkUQFjAAegQIAhAB&usg=AOvVaw15YVG7djmini7yhQj0uQyC&ampcf=1

However the rank may alter as it is predicated on the basis of last year performance.

For taking admission in IMS BHU your rank must be under 660 according to last year cutoff. So you are not in a safe side but you are also not out of contest. You still have a chance because cutoff rank and all India rank changes every year. You can predict your possible college here
