Is it necessary to go to college daily ?

Hi,

It depends on the college and course. In most regular UG courses, attendance is important and many colleges keep a minimum attendance rule (usually around 75%).

But practically:
• Some colleges are strict about daily attendance
• Some are more relaxed if your attendance stays above the minimum

Yes, it is absolutely possible to get admission into good/top engineering colleges even with below 75% in Class 12 — but it depends on the college.

Important thing:
• IITs, NITs, IIITs through JoSAA usually require 75% in boards for General/OBC candidates.
