Jee main 2021 counselling ke liye aay praman patra ka jari date kab se hona chahiye. please tell me

Atul Singh 10th Sep, 2021

Dear Student,

Not only in JEE counselling but in every college counselling they ask you to submit the newly created documents like Caste, Domicile and Gap certificate.

Btw the all certificates should be created after April month in all types of counselling so if you don't have any new one then create it as soon as possible otherwise you will loose your candidature or the benefit of your caste.

good luck :)

The number of candidates appeared in each attempt are differs with one another and also does not carry equality with regards to the difficulty level in each attempt. Then how could be the "Best of 4" rule is suitable while arising at final result of JEE main 2021 Exams.

Anurag Khanna 9th Sep, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

First of all let me clear you with the meaning of percentile, percentile is nothing but a percentage of candidates having score equal or less than you, so if you are getting 98 percentile then it means that 98% candidates have scored less marks then you in JEE-Main.

Now let me explain you the way of calculating result through an example. Suppose there are 4 shifts, some were difficult and some were easy, Now in difficult shifts it would be difficult to score more marks as compared to that of easy shifts, now if the shift would be difficult then it would be difficult for each and every candidate appearing in that shift therefore they all will ultimately score less marks as compared to the candidates scoring in easier shifts, so to remove this partiality the percentile system has been adopted.

Because of this it is much possible that candidate of easy shift on scoring 105 marks get only 90 percentile but on the same place any candidate of difficult shift might get 95 percentile even on 100 marks. So what all maters is difficulty level of paper.

Good Luck!!

Anurag Khanna 8th Sep, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

As per the data you have mentioned in your question, the expected figure for you are :-

-->> CRL Rank - 245520 - 276000

-->> OBC Rank - 60000-70000

You can check out marks Vs CRL ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

On the basis of above figures you cannot get any of the NITs because for NITs closing OBC rank usually varies around 15000-17000, for e.g. :

  • National Institute of Technology Agartala - Production Engineering (15723)
  • National Institute of Technology Durgapur - Bio Technology (14444)

And likewise. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction has been made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of either JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India on the basis of your JEE-Main 2021 result :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

You can also check out the expected JEE-Main 2021 cut-off and predict whether you have any chances to get qualified for JEE-Advance 2021 or not, so it is given below :-

** Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile

** Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile

** Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile

You have good chances to get qualified for JEE-Advance 2021, so start preparing for JEE-Advance 2021.
