Hello,

Your rank is pretty good. You can get college on your own state.

But if you get admission in kolkata , then go for 15% all India counseling . You can easily get your favourite college.

I live in Jharkhand and my NEET exam centre is given in Asansol (West Bengal). Is e pass necessary to go to other state during exam day? Nazia Tarannum.

Anurag Khanna 11th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

As we know that we are surviving in very unprotected circumstances and we have to take all necessary precautions to save ourselves and along with proper safety measures we have to move on in our life. So now different exams are being conducted and therefore the lockdown has also been uplifted so now there is nothing need to carry any e-pass for travelling from one state to another. What you should carry is just your Hall ticket/Admit card of NEET 2020, a valid ID proof, at least 5 passport size photograph out of which only two are to be used at exam centre other are for some safety reasons and the most important thing is self declaration form/undertaking which clearly mentions that you are not suffering from any of the symptoms of COVID-19 and that you should sign in the front of Invigilator at examination centre.

For more details refer to the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck for your exam and Be safe!!!

can other states student get a category conveyor quota in Andhrapradesh medical college if his score is good but belongs to other states like me. I belong from jharkhand obc my neet score is 570

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 20th Oct, 2020

Hello

Yes you can get admission in any private or deemed medical college in Andhra Pradesh with your NEET score. As far as the Government Colleges are concerned you will have to show the residential proof of you having lived in Andhra Pradesh or have given your 12th board from AP.

Other than this you can obviously go through All India Counselling to get a seat in Andhra Pradesh.

All the best!

can i get govt medical college in jharkhand where my number is 345 in neet ,from St category????

Nandhini Student Expert 20th Oct, 2020

Hello student,

With a score of around 345, your predicted all india rank is between 2,11,000 - 2,55,000. Your chances of getting a medical college is very less as Last year, a score of 350 was required to procure a seat in Pataliputra medical college Dhanbad, for which the closing ranks were around 1,85,000. Yet, ranks and scores vary each year depending on state quotas, difficulty level of the question paper and so on. However, you can also predict the colleges which you are likely to get using the below mentioned link:

I got 571 in neet 2020 . my air is 35480 and my obc rank is 14775 .. and I am from jharkhand .. can I get mbbs from All india quota and second can I get mbbs in govt cllg through state quota .. plzzzz help me

Rishita hari 20th Oct, 2020

Hello student,

For all India quota seats in 15% gov. seats, please follow this link for previous years cutoffs, where as this year the cutoff is going to be quite high. And, you seem to have less chance in gov. colleges through AIQ seats.

Now, for the gov. MBBS seat in jharkhand state, this link will provide you with previous years cutoffs. https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-jharkhand

So, for your rank AIR 35480 and OBC category reservation, the colleges you have chances are not in gov. medical colleges or any gov dental college even, just the private BDS colleges like Vananchal dental college, Hazaribag dental college,Awadh dental college etc.

Now, to know more about the colleges you have chances at your marks please follow the college predictor link https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor

if I score 430marks then can I secure a mbbs seat in jharkhand state quota.I am general

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 9th Sep, 2020
Hi

In neet 2019,  580 marks was the lowest marks that was required for general category for getting a mbbs seat  under jharkhand 85% state quota and it was for PATALIPUTRA MEDICAL COLLEGE, DHANBAD

You can check the same at
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-jharkhand/amp

So, with 430 marks you cannot get an mbbs seat

Also, cut off marks  keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

So , you should try to get at least around 600 marks to be on the safer side in your neet 2020 examination

Thankyou
