ADRIKA mONDAL 25th Nov, 2021

Hi Akshay,

With the score of 407 in NEET 2021 you are definitely eligible to apply for private medical colleges in Kerala for management quota .Moreover it would be much better if you could provide  your category. Nevertheless you are totally eligible for applying through management quota. Hoping for the best.

I am from kerala. I belong to general ews category. my calculated neet 2021 score is 517, do I have any chance for a govt mbbs seat? pls anyone reply

rajeevanand843 16th Oct, 2021

Dear aspirant

In NEET 2020 kerala state quota cut off marks for EWS category candidates was Air 25114 and 590 marks and state rank 3129.

So if we compare your expected marks then it is way below than previous year cut off marks so there are very rare chance that you will get govt mbbs college in Kerala State counseling.

Although you may get self financing private medical colleges at your marks in keam counseling, you can try for that.

You can use NEET UG college predictor tool for knowing chances of getting MBBS BDS ayush colleges at your expected marks.

i hope that i would get 552 marks for neet ug 2021.is there any chance to get a govt mbbs college in kerala under state quota and at tamilnadu under AIQ? i belong to obc category

Aniqa zena 16th Oct, 2021
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well. Congratulations it's a nice score. It is difficult to get government seat for mbbs in these marks. As the cutoff marks for obc category of AIQ is around 600 and for state quota it is around 580- 590 in Kerela state.

The NEET score cut off depends on factors such as:-

Difficulty level of NEET question paper compared to last year

Number of MBBS seat increase in Kerala medical colleges.

Preparation/Performance Improvement writing NEET exam from Kerala State

The expected  category cut off is 610during 2021 Counselling.

I have 160 mark in neet 2021. what will be my kerala obc rank and what courses will I get?. can I go for private med colleges or deemed colleges for mbbs?

Abhi S 16th Oct, 2021

Hello dear ,

You have got 160 marks in neet exam and belong to obc category.  With the mentioned marks your rank will be in between the range of 682106 to 757256 rank.  With this marks it difficult to predict your kerala obc rank as it depends on many factors like no of students appeared in the exam,  no of seats available,  difficulty of the exam.  With this rank it is difficult to get a private mbbs college in kerala  it is better to try a deemed mbbs college with your marks.

You can use the site given below to know about the colleges that you will get with your predicted rank

Any chance for 451 mark, keralite obc for getting admsn in kerala govt colleges or any All india quota seats (AIR 130000 and OBC NCL 58000)

piyush263001 25th Nov, 2021

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

With marks you have scored in the NEET 2021 Examination, it would be very difficult for you to get admission in the government colleges in Kerala as according to previous year data, last candidate to get admission in Medical College in Kerala was at rank 9645 in PK Das Institute of Medical Sciences, Ottapalam.

Though you have a very good chance at private colleges and Deemed universities(high fees).

• GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Visakhapatnam- 197 Marks

•BVDU Medical College and Hospital, Sangli:- 311 marks

• Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospt., Puducherry:- 192 marks

•Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital, Chennai:- 189 marks

• Shri Satya Sai Medical College and RI, Kancheepuram:- 173 marks

• Meenakshi Medical College Host. and Res. Inst., Chenna:- 169 marks

• Saveetha Medical College, Chennai:- 265 marks

• Dr. DYP Edu. Soc. Deemed Uni., Kolhapur:- 262 marks

• Vinayaka Missions Medical College and Hospital, Karaikal:- 257 marks

• Krishna Institute of Medical Sc., Karad:- 253 marks

• Sri Lakshmi Narayana Inst. of Med. Scien., Puducherry:- 152 marks

Aniket Das 24th Nov, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Your marks are decent enough to get you any private medical college in Kerala. Though it can be a bit difficult to get a seat under government quota in private colleges. You can definitely get other seats though, but the fees will be way too high.
